What error message do you get?
Enable logging and attach the usb_modeswitch log to your next post.

Thank you for your quick reply.

PPP widget shows "Dialing Out" and then changed the status to "Disconnected" after few seconds.

Your problem is that the stick doesn't switch mode into modem mode:
usbmodeswitch log wrote: Setting up communication with interface 0
Could not claim interface (error -6).
Skipping message sending
which should had been:
Setting up communication with interface 0
Trying to send the message
OK, message successfully sent.

I don't know the cause for this so you will have to wait for Josh to reply.

Here is the problem in the USB log:

"Setting up communication with interface 0
Could not claim interface (error -6). Skipping message sending"

Error 6 means "No such device or address". The switching sequence is never sent because libusb could not find the device.

I suspect this may be a power- or powersave-related problem. Try enabling the config option "Disable USB device sleep".

Any changes?

That is very interesting!

I have to check the source code. Can you tell me if this is exactly the line shown in SuperSU, with all blanks included as seen?

Every character is important.

Almost same, but spacing in the last portion is bit different. It shuldbe read as "pppwidget --logging &".

One more thing I want toconfirm with you is the dial string. Mine is Nexus 7 3G,should I use the default string (*99***1#) or #777 (as my reliance modem is CDMA). Thank you for your attention.

CDMA always uses #777 as dial string.
