Hello
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 6&t=177906
That is my Problem.

Hallo

sudo usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 1f01 -M '55534243123456780000000000000a11062000000000000100000000000000'

Did you check the output of "systemctl status usb_modeswitch@1-1.4:1.0.service" as advised?
What does it say?

(Please copy/paste the text, no screenshot!)

The command is precisely what the error message suggested. Run it in a terminal:
Code:
# systemctl status usb_modeswitch@1-1.4:1.0.service

Note that the device ID (the part after the "@" character) may be different next time.

No useful information there ...

Try to run the service manually:

- Make sure to note down the device location of the unswitched modem. See the folder "/sys/bus/usb/devices" and check that there is a subfolder named "1-1.4:1.0". If not, note the different name.

- Run "systemctl start usb_modeswitch@1-1.4:1.0". What's the result?

I recommend using a terminal-based file manager like "mc", the Midnight Commander, to navigate through directories.

Good afternoon:
I have a Huawei E3531 and a Raspberry Pi Zero, and it works me correctly with this configuration.
Code:
root@RaspiZero:/etc/usb_modeswitch.d# cat 12d1:1f01
# Huawei E303
DefaultVendor= 0x12d1
DefaultProduct= 0x1f01
TargetVendor= 0x12d1
TargetProduct= 0x1001
