After a long and hard try, I can't get my MF710M to switch to serial mode so that I can use it to send AT commands. I commented out the udev rule, but the device still switches to 19d2:1405.

Dmesg output.

I have no idea which udev rule is being executed. I've tried so many message contents to switch it to `1403` (I think that is the serial mod) but none of them are working.

who is printing `usb-storage 2-3:1.0: Quirks match for vid 19d2 pid 1225: 1 ` is that maybe what's switching it?

EDIT: The storage drive is still visible even when the device is connected via cdc_ether mdoe

There is no serial mode in MF710M, it is a direct network adapter and not a dialup modem.
