No luck. I wrote ATTRS{idVendor}=="12d1", ATTRS{idProduct}="1506", RUN+="usb_modeswitch '%b/%k'" to /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules then
[root@localhost tietokone]# usb_modeswitch -b2 -W -v 12d1 -p 1506
########
found USB ID 12d1:1506
vendor ID matched
product ID matched
found USB ID 1d6b:0002
found USB ID 1d6b:0001
found USB ID 1d6b:0001
Found devices in default mode (1)
Access device 003 on bus 001
Get the current device configuration ...
Current configuration number is 1
Use interface number 0

USB description data (for identification)
-------------------------
Manufacturer: HUAWEI_MOBILE
Product: HUAWEI_MOBILE
Serial No.: 0123456789ABCDEF
-------------------------

And now what. No sign in Modem Manager but in USB memory.

12d1:1506 is the USB Id after mode switching, you can not switch it further after that.

Thanks mate after switch you can not switch makes sens though.

Bus 002 Device 013: ID 12d1:1c20 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. R205 Mobile WiFi (Charging)
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 12d1:15ca Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E3131 3G/UMTS/HSPA+ Modem (Mass Storage Mode)

But it is too fast. It switch fast to 15ca and do not find 1c20. What to do. But some progress in this matter. What is this option new Huawei -J ? I think I am quite close now. I just need more contributions. This devise is few months old and there is no references yet.

Also when device is off it is found Look for default devices ...

found USB ID 12d1:1c20
vendor ID matched
product ID matched
but what are this ones?

libusb: error [_get_usbfs_fd] libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/002/012: Permission denied
libusb: error [_get_usbfs_fd] libusb requires write access to USB device nodes.

So is it so that I do need to change libusb folder permissions? How to do this? It was so many years then that do not remember? Or is it timing issue. That when device boot up it switch fast to memory mode? Also one thing I do notice that I am using Bus 002 Device 018: ID 04e8:6863 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd GT-I9500 [Galaxy S4] / GT-I9250 [Galaxy Nexus] (network tethering) what appears first in Mobile Manager GUI as a null device then dissapear when switch tethering on in a device. In NetworkManager. Am I using two programs same time. What is the diference of NetworkManager and Mobilemanager? Can I have both?

Tell me Guru's and lead me from darkness.

12d1:1c20 is, as lsusb reported. an Id used when the device is in charging mode (device turned off), it is also used when SIM card is missing.
It can not be switched because it is a special Huawei Id basically meaning "device is not in operational mode" .

12d1:15ca is the real Default Id and it is supported in usb_modeswitch for switching, in your case it is switching to the Target Id 12d1:1506.
If your usb_modeswitch package is up-to-date then you don't have to manually intervene, it should all happen by automata.

I install Libusb-dev in Feodra repos and then usb-modeswitch-2.5.0 and then usb-modeswitch-data, and get
Bus 002 Device 024: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Modem/Networkcard
Bus 002 Device 022: ID 04e8:6863 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd GT-I9500 [Galaxy S4] / GT-I9250 [Galaxy Nexus] (network tethering)
And in Networkmanager devices disappear when boot them up.

And still Huawei modem appears as an usb memory. I think that it is still switching problem.

Your Networkmanager problems has nothing to do with usb_modeswitch.

It is not a switching problem, what you see is not the virtual cd-rom storage but the sd/tf card storage.

Yes it is so. I get confirmation today. I see now modem in Network Manager and also in Modem Manager. I could connect and then rejected after usb driver was found by a device. Anyway it is not issue of USB-modeswitch and will continue other forums. Thank you from your help.
