In addition, I have released an update which should indicate a failed access check better.

After the update, it might help to remove all instances of the widget, then place it again from the widget menu, and catch the logcat output immediately after.
This would now show any quirks during the first root shell call.

Ok, lets try

As I said, the new update has some more logcat output in case of a problem with that first "su" call.
It will be available soon; Google Play always needs a while from upload to publishing.

What your SuperSU was logging is only the normal script when connecting. No problem there.
However, if "su" fails to start, then SuperSU will not log anything - obviously.

Note that the copy process for the "jar" files is not started by the app installation.

It is started by the widget placing operation (when you put the widget on the workspace)

Hi,

The last logcat includes already the creation of the widget. This step seems to no do anything. As if the widget can't do any operation when created.

The directory in data/data doesn't contain the scripts.

I did the installation on my Xperia Z3 compact (Android 6) and now I know how it looks when it works.

Could be something related to the widget actions possible?

For example the box by default has background application list that can run in background. I remove this list to get the standard Android behaviour.

As las point, when I did the installation of drivers for my GPS USB (GlobalSat), I got a lot of difficulties to start a sh script at boot. Nothing works. Finally, I start it from an high level application and not the system.

Thanks, some interesting lines in that "logcat" file ...

This is suspicious:
"Failed to find mounted volume for /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/de.draisberghof.pppwidget3/files/"

You get this for other apps too:
"Failed to find mounted volume for /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/com.google.android.music/files/"
"Failed to find mounted volume for /storage/sdcard1/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/files/"

Can you check with the file manager? It's the usual path for SD cards which extend the app storage.
(Sometimes it's redirected to internal storage.)

I think the trouble with the missing "sdcard1" folder may prevent PPP Widget from completing the installation, which should include unpacking the "jar" files.
I will try to create a work-around.

Thanks, I will check tomorrow the path and how to solve the issue. But it is already the case on two different rom for TV boxes.

I have created yet annother update.

This one puts out specific logcat messages during the file install phase (every time you see "Vérification de l'accès..."), so it should help to identify the problem.

Hello,

Could be the path of the integrated SD slot of the Huawei 3G dongle. I will check.

Sdcard 1is used by the microsd. My second TV box has an Sdcard and the path is valid. I did a log with the last version available 1h ago.
