Thanks for the log, however the initial check/configuration/installation is not included.

To force the "Vérification de l'accès..." phase, remember to remove the PPP Widget from all workspaces (or desktops), then place it again from the widget menu.

Edit: afterwards this should be in the logcat:
Code:
act=android.appwidget.action.APPWIDGET_CONFIGURE cmp=de.draisberghof.pppwidget3/.PPPHelperActivity

New log again:
- clean desktop
- remove app
- install again
- create 1 new widget

Great, thanks !!!

I think we have found our culprit:
Code:
12-24 10:28:30.313 I/PPPWidget3( 7790): Start file installation from assets, binDir: /data/data/de.draisberghof.pppwidget3/app_bin
12-24 10:28:30.314 E/( 7790): Unknown architecture aarch64, installation failed

This prevents any further installation ...
I'll look into this problem and will provide a stable fix.

Thanks again, we can stop searching now!

I have issued a 'Christmas Update' 8)

It should install and work as intended on your machine.

Yes, this is the important bit.

The next step is more complicated. I need to see a part of the Android log - just the moment when PPP Widget tries the network notification. I recommend using the app "Catlog".

Try to include the moment when the connection is made. PPP Widget issues the following message at that point:
"Will try to make OS aware of connect ..."

Everything before that can be discarded. If the remaining rest of the text ist still voluminous, make a zip file from it. Attach it to your next post.

The logcat looks actually like the network notification succeeded - but no data is flowing.

Please post both your full USB and your PPP log. Also provide the exact model name of your modem.

Enable logging in the configuration page (near bottom).

Re-plug your modem, connect when ready. Now you can watch (and copy) your logs with the buttons on the configuration page.

Thanks for the logs - one more question: are you using the "SuperSU" app?
