Q101 on EeePC linux
Posted: 14 Dec 2008, 14:39
Got me a EeePC plus Q101 on top of my UMTS-SIM from TWMOBILE.
In the stick's memory there is a .deb with it seems all the things needed to run it under (at least xandros) linux.
things like udev.d entries mentioning 'eject -s %d'.
When I did a lsusb; eject -s /dev/sdb; lsusb, the product id of Q101 switched like this:
halley:~ # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 044: ID 0408:1000 Quanta Computer, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 038: ID 046d:c525 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
halley:~ # eject -s /dev/sdb
halley:~ # eject -s /dev/sdb
eject: unable to find or open device for: `/dev/sdb'
halley:~ # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 045: ID 0408:ea02 Quanta Computer, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 038: ID 046d:c525 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
halley:~ #
maybe someone is interested in the complete tarball from Q101-storagecard? Send me a mail asking for it!
cheers
