USB_ModeSwitch

I have an Acer A500 and I would like to use it with a USB 3G modem made by ZTE MF 192, the service provider is Beeline in Russia.

I have rooted my tablet, correctly installed PPP widget and configured the system. When I go to connect, it dials, then seems to briefly connect and the disconnects. Below you will find the PPP connection logs a d the config. If you have any advice I would appreciate it.

APN: internet.beeline.ru
USERNAME: Beeline
PASSWORD: Beeline
DIAL STRING: *9***1# (I've also used *9# with similar results)

Any ideas on how to fix it or what's wrong?

I can't see anything wrong.

Did you try other APNs?

I googled and found some hints that there is an alternative APN: "home.beeline.ru"

It may be worth to try this one.
