Wen I tried to run modprobe usbserial or option,
it shows "FATAL: Module usbserial not found."
Can somebody tell me what is wrong?
My Fedora version is:
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.23.1 #7 SMP Mon Feb 9 15:28:58 CST 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Well, that means there is no "usbserial" module for your kernel - it's either compiled into it or was not selected at all.
If I were you, I'd compile my own kernel with these settings adjusted. |

Thx Josh,
I recompiled the kernel and set the usbserial as module. |
