C-motech D-50 (aka "CDU-680", "CNU-680")

Post by egon » 22 Jun 2010, 16:52

The correct message content for C-motech D-50 is

MessageContent="555342431234567824000000800008ff524445564348473100000000000000"

Otherwise it won't start the modem.

So you tested the existing MessageContent
"555342431234567824000000800008ff524445564348470000000000000000"
and it does not work?

The only difference to your string is the "31" before the zeros at the end. This is an ASCII string BTW saying "RDEVCHG" or in your case "RDEVCHG1".

Yes tested it. I've got it currently set up "RDEVCHG1".

The existing one did something but ubuntu (mint) didn't recognize the modem.

I already had a python script that did the switch and from there I got the "1" part. After I added it, it started working.

My devices exact model is Cmotech CNU-680 and as far I've found it's same as D-50 and CDU-680 -- just different location.

O.K., thanks! I will change the message in the data package for the next release.
