Re: ZTE MF 60 (19d2:2004)

His does also switch to 19d2:1402, it is the initial id which is new. Right. Skimming too fast... Take a look at his device listing, interface #1, do you also have 3 endpoint in that interface? My saved device listing, pinched from god knows where, does only have 2 endpoints. Mine only has 2 endpoi...

Re: ZTE MF 60 (19d2:2004)

Your 3rd scenario is the correct one, 19d2:2004 is a new initial id not known to usb_modeswitch before, it will be included in the next update of the usb_modeswitch data package. The MF60 does not have a serial ppp modem interface, it does instead have a qmi interface which will give you an etherne...

Re: New Device: Alcatel-sbell ASB TL131 TD-LTE USB Dongle

scateu didn't get a response to AT cmds on any of those serial interfaces when using usb-serial, neither did the user in the codeaurora link I provided. Thanks for pointing that out. I missed it when reading through the discussion. Better wait until we find out how to enable these ports then.... I ...

Re: New Device: Alcatel-sbell ASB TL131 TD-LTE USB Dongle

ok, it looks like the definition fom the qualcom developers forum is correct (# DESCRIPTION: DIAG + ADB + MODEM + NMEA + QMI_RMNET + Mass Storage (Android) ) and matches the .inf files you provided. Yup, that's nice and I see that the ADB and QMI functions are verified. I'll go add the QMI now. You...

Re: Switching problem with ZTE MF825A 4G LTE Device (Airtel)

QMI is Qualcom's management protocol for which linux recently has got a driver (qmi_wwan) which creates a direct ethernet device. Difference between qmi_wwan, cdc_ether, and rndis_host is that with qmi you have a known command protocol with linux library support. It is preferred over rndis_host rig...

Re: New device TP-Link MA260

qmi works! Thanks for confirming. It's funny to see the number of devices now supported by the qmi_wwan driver, thinking of how I started out with the intention of supporting a single Huawei modem, possibly supporting a few more Huawei devices. Your early testing of a number of devices has helped a...

Re: Added new device Huawei K4305

There are no serial interfaces on K4305, only a direct ethernet interface. There is a webserver behind the ethernet interface where you may find signal and other connection info. <WebUi> <Home>http://{0}/</Home> <Sms>http://{0}/html/home.htm?startPage=sms-inbox</Sms> <Account>http://{0}/html/home.h...

New device TP-Link MA260

Hello, this modem just showed up in the discussions down under. Unswitched ID is 2357:f000 Switched ID is 2357:9000 Switching command is the same as for the TP-Link MA180: 5553424312345678000000000000061b000000020000000000000000000000 usb-devices before switching http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...
