TP-link MA180 2357:0201

Post by thomasschaefer » 12 Jan 2013, 22:48

(sorry for opening a new thread)

the device switches from
2357:0200
2357:0201

with
eject /dev/sr0
or the right usb_modeswitch-mesage, I saw one at this forum

This device works with "option" and "qmi_wwan".

I did not test dial in via ppp. (it should work - windows offers also a modem)

But the windows-dial-in-software uses this device as "ethernet" - which can be done under linux with qmi_wwan.
I tested qmi_wwan - it works (IPv4 -ok , IPv6 failed)

"option" and "qmi_wwan" don't know about the IDs of this device at the moment.

I think this will be changed, I sent some info to:
