Just for information:

The device Telekom Speedstick IV (alcatel, TCT Mobile)

switches from
idVendor=1bbb, idProduct=f000
to
idVendor=1bbb, idProduct=0195

usb-modeswitch already contains a valid rule for that device.

cdc_ether loads

The rest is done by the NetworkManager. (dhcp)

The configuration/setup of the device has to be done via webinterface http://speedstick.lte

The device has also a wlan-AP-function, so the device can also be used only with a usb power supply.


Regarding to data sheet and possible settings the device supports also IPv6, but I could not test it, because the Deutsche Telekom doesn’t provide IPv6 in their network, yet.
