Hi!
I just got a Mobidata MBD-300HU from China directly which is a HSDPA modem. Sticking it to USB gives me a " H10 MMC Storage" device with Vendor=0x04a5 and ProductID=0x4060. I even got hold to a piece of documentation describing Linux installation and it recommends to simply load usbserial with those Vendor and productID.
From here I conclude that the device does not change Vendor/Product ids but how do I know what endpoint should I send a message to and what should this message be?
I also modprobed usbserial with the above mentioned parameters right after I pluged the device and I can see ttyUSB* appearing but the device goes back to mass storage mode in about 10 seconds. I guess, just because I did not switched it and mass storage takes over.
So, what would I do to get to know a proper endpoint and a message I have to send? Or may be there should be something else?

To determine the endpoint and the message to send, you can use tools like lsusb to view detailed information about the USB device and learn about the modem's communication protocol. By the way, if you have difficulty calculating your working hours or salary, time calculator is the perfect suggestion to help you solve that problem.
