Hello All,
I want to connect huawei E173s-6 Dongle to My Board(Based on Cavium Processor), Linux 3.4.56
When This modem is connected it can not switch to modem mode from mass storage using usb_modeswitch_dispather utility but when I give command like "usb_modeswitch -I -c 12d1 -p 1c0b -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:1c0b" then it is converted to mass storage.
But other type of dongle works properly.
In Script if I replace usb_modeswithc_dispather --switch mode line with "usb_modeswitch -I -c 12d1 -p 1c0b -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:1c0b" then also it works fine.
So what may be the issue.

Please specify in detail which Linux distribution you are running, and if you are using the usb-modeswitch package from that distribution.

Also, take back all your modifications and enable logging in usb-modeswitch (edit /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf).
