Unusual question - can I route traffic from phone simcard to dongle? (purpose:lessen radiation)

Post by maxkill » 12 Nov 2020, 15:29

Hello! I'd like to avoid emf radiation as of late so wondering if you can have the simcard in the phone as usual but make all internet traffic go through the dongle only?
And if so can I also route all calls through the dongle aswell so no radiation comes from the actual phone?
Thanks

Your dongle needs to have a physical SIM-card installed in order to work.

That is a copy, copy that. Could you call from the dongle aswell? Or is it just for internet?

Mobile Broadband dongles do only provide an internet connection.

Recently saw few inexpensive 4G LTE / VoLTE routers with RJ11 ports. These are not portable as dongles, but you may adapt them for vehicles.

Tenda and Huawei have such CPE. Assume this would be ideal if you want less radiation in areas fixed lines are not practical/feasible, but have good 4G LTE/VoLTE connectivity, some devices support CSFB technology as well.

https://www.tendacn.com/en/product/forhome-87.html

https://consumer.huawei.com/en/routers/

https://www.4gltemall.com/4g-wireless-router.html

*Huawei have limited products with telephone port, eg. 4G Router 2 Pro, 4G CPE Pro 2, B315s are some examples. Other brands are provided in 4gletmall.

You need to do bit research before making any purchase, ensure the Mobile bands(5G/4G/UTMS/CDMA/EVDO/etc... ) supported by these device are used in your country, by your operator and in your locality.
