Help Needed to setup device id 161c:f101

I am having trouble setting up a 4g USB modem which i bought from amazon
the device id is 161c:f101
the device is from a unknown company "Consistent"

i am trying to use

sudo usb_modeswitch -v 161c -p f101 -W -K

but I am getting an error saying

When the device id is 161c:f101 then it is already switched (possibly by usb_modeswitch) and it can't be switched further.

As you have noted there is a forum thread for this device under a different mfgr name but there was no final solution in it, the problem is unsolved.
The net interface of the device is from what we found then not compatible with any linux net driver, it most likely needs a mfgr proprietary driver which the mfgr obviously has provided for MS Windows where the device works as a net device under the 161c:f101 id.

I have contacted support team of the device and asked them to provide drivers for Linux.
I also googled the vendor id. It is from vendor named "Digitech Systems" but I found nothing. Not even a website

Hope the support team reaches back and provide some info on drivers
