PPP Widget 2 hangs at the point showing "Building Network"

I am using Google Nexus 7 and Huawei E169. Android 4.4.4.

Below are the PPP log, pls adivse:-

Huawei E169 connected to Nexus 7 2013 (flo) through powered hub. Huawei E169 works fine on computer.

I have uploaded a new version which tries to fix the problem.

Please try also to enter a random username and password (like "dummy" or "ua" - whatever you like).

New version did not solve the problem.

The result was the same.

After that I bought Y-cable and tried to use other sources of power. But this does not solve the problem too. Only when I updated firmware of modem from here, I got a connection!!!

Looks like the PPP log is showing a successful modem initialization and PPP negotiation. Reminds me of the unpredictability of omegle new conversations - you never know what you're going to get!
