I installed PPP Widget 3 successfully, and then I installed Overlays, b/c I'm using an Android Auto Headunit and there's nowhere else to place the widget.
It worked great, once. I swear. 4g LTE all that, awesome.
I got out of my vehicle and turned it off. The next day, when I launched the Overlays, and tried to open the PPP Widget, it said it wasn't installed.
I have re-installed PPP WIdget 3 and nothing makes it reappear in the available list of widgets.
What to check?
Yes I have root.

Re: Widget installed but not listed for Overlays application
It does appear that the PPP Widget refuses to launch if it isn't already placed on a workspace. The message is "Place PPP Widget 3 on your workspace first!" before the application exits after the USB connect event.
I would love it if the developer would provide a means to use the widget in an environment where it is not possible to place the widget without an app like Overlays where the widget "floats" above the other applications.
Unless there's a way around this that I'm not aware of?
