I'm using the wifi adapter FRITZ!WLAN Stick AC860 from AVM on my Linux Mint 20.2 machine and it always takes very long (between 3 and 6 minutes, usually) to switch from the CD-ROM mode to the adapter mode. I can make it faster by manually ejecting the CD-ROM, but the delay is still very weird. Is there any way to speed up the switching process?
I've enabled the logging as described in the Troubleshooting chapter and this is the output:
