Hello,
I'm using a Huawei e5573bs-322.
How to use modeswitch ?
Thank-you
Re: e5573bs-322
You need to tell me which system you are using.
Most Linux distributions have usb_modeswitch included and ready to run.

Debian should include a working installation of usb_modeswitch. If you encounter problems with a modem, switch on logging as described here:

Re: e5573bs-322
I found a way to switch the modem to Ethernet mode.
I'd rather have the modem to be recognized as a USB port (/dev/ttyUSB0).
With this command line :
usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 1f01 -M "5553424300000000000000000000000110600000000000000000000000000000000000"
I almost have the solution, but sending SMS messages (gammu) is unsuccessful (Failed to get SMSC number from phone).
How can I find the correct syntax for the MessageContent?
Thank-you
