Code: Select all

########################################################
# MDB-200HU
#
# Contributor: Stefan Olejnik

DefaultVendor=  0x1c9e
DefaultProduct= 0xf000

TargetVendor=   0x1c9e
TargetProduct=  0x9000

MessageEndpoint=0x01
MessageContent="5553424348f554848000000080000606f50402527000000000000000000000"
I have tried to change Vender to Qualcomm (manufacturer of chip of modem so it should work) but it do not change it..

but it works with usbserial. let's try if without problem
Another choise is to add this vendor to option.c source ^_^

btw, thaks for usb_modeswitch! ;)

Thanks for the new device!
I'll update the config file right away.

I still adapt the "option" module for my devices - it's really simple - but there seems to have gone some work into the usbserial driver lately. It probably doesn't matter that much anymore which one you choose.

Hi, I have just found another way directly from manufacturer of device.
It is possible to remove the usb storage definitely by this AT command (you need at first windows for this or usb_modeswitch :) )

Code: Select all

AT+DISK=8,”D2”
It will remove usb storage so you won't access drivers for windows that was on it! Use it only if you won't need windows driver anymore. this change is definitive!
After this sometimes usbserial is loaded and if not:

Code: Select all

modprobe usbserial vendor=0X1C9E product=0X9000
It will create three ttyUSB0, ttyUSB1 and ttyUSB2. 1 and 2 are the one for serial comunication
