Hi and thanks for your work!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (P5210) and I managed to connect and use an old ZTE modem thanks to ppp widget. But the access to webpages was very slow because of the modem (it was quite old).

Now I'm trying to work it out with a Huawei E303 and it's impossible. I can't find the problem as ppp widget2 freezes searching the modem and I can't even enter in the configuration (so I don't have a log).

If I unplug the modem and then plug it again, ppp widget2 returns to live and says "Modem not found". At this point I can enter in Configuration but the log is empty.

I need some ideas so as to try to find the error. If I knew the error I could fix it (I hope so) but without any clue I'm giving up.

Are you powering the modem externally? On my older Samsung tabs, most modems are only useable if I connect them through a powered USB hub or a power-injecting OTG cable.
