As mentioned in the subject, I'm trying to find the MessageContent of an unidentified modem so that I can activate the ModeSwitch.

Check the configuration files used by usb_modeswitch to ensure they are correctly set up for your device. The configuration files are typically located in /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/.
