In my scenario, I used system's usb ports only for modems, so I dont need USB_STORAGE so i dont compile kernel with it. I disabled that option already from kernel. I just have enabled ...

Oh sorry it was my mistake. I have changed for supporting TargetProductList through commandline, not message content. Multiple message support is already there in 1.1.6 . True.

But i have seen the patch. It is handling for error number of -84.
But if you see in my first post, there is error number -71 also.

I have written all.
I tried with kernel-2.6.27's sierra.ko but it didnt binded as driver for that modem.
The reason i see here is that this modem's vendor-product id is not defined in sierra.c

Moreover i didnt find any mode switch command in usb_modeswitch utility.
It is detected as
